Posts, Telecommunications and Information Communication Technology Adviser Md Nahid Islam today directed the authorities concerned to slash the unnecessary projects of Aspire to Innovate (a2i).<\/p>\n
He issued the directive while visiting the a2i headquarters in ICT Tower here, said a press release.<\/p>\n
The adviser said that initiatives taken by a2i should reach the county\u2019s people and innovative energy has to be used.<\/p>\n
Referring to the new Bangladesh attained in exchange of blood of student-people, he said, \u201cWe must act with respect for that blood.\u201d<\/p>\n
He asked the officials to see that no complaint would come about the work of a2i.<\/p>\n
Nahid Islam said that several investigation committees have been formed to see the irregularities and corruption of a2i. \u201cThe investigation process should be impartial and transparent,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Mentioning that the youth-folk of Bangladesh will be engaged in the information technology sector, he said, if necessary, an advisory team will be formed consisting of all the Bangladeshi information technology experts who are working as magnetic-force in different countries of the world. \u201cThe youth-folk will be utilized as per their suggestions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The adviser said the political trend that is continuing in the country needs reform alongside structural reform of the state.<\/p>\n
