ET Desk:<\/strong> Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has said the autocratic Sheikh Hasina has stolen and smuggled everything and devouring the country.
\n\u201cSheikh Hasina has taken the country’s economy to zero quota. They have made the nation sleepy in the name of consciousness by pretending to be contractors of independence and nourished themselves by looting,\u201d he said.
\nToday, they are the ones who are talking big. It is like the mother of thieves. Not only did they fall when their consciousness-mongering new generation caught them, they were also expelled from the country.
\n\u201cThey are the ones who sold the sovereignty of independence,\u201d Dr Shafiqur Rahman said this while addressing a gathering as the chief guest at the central bus terminal of Saidpur upazila in Nilphamari district on Sunday evening.
\nDemanding justice for the July-August massacre, the Jamaat-e-Ameer said, “We must always be ready to implement the goals and spirit for which the young fighters of the 2024 liberated the country from fascism.\u201d
\nHe said, \u201cThe fallen dictatorship is conspiring to sabotage the success of the July uprising. They set fire to the Secretariat building and destroyed the documents of several ministries. Those involved in this incident must be exposed and brought to justice.”
\nHe said, “We want to build the country as a well-groomed garden. For this, united cooperation and collective efforts are needed. Then it will be possible to turn this economically poor country into a prosperous and welfare-oriented state again.”
\nHe said, “Children, adolescents and youth have given us the gift of a new Bangladesh. Therefore, by giving them the opportunity to vote, we can express our gratitude and repay our debt to them.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Rahman said, “We want to build a country where there will be no discrimination. People of all religions and castes will live together on the basis of equal rights. We will strive to develop the country through patriotism in all areas.\u201d
\nHe said there will be no extortionists, miscreants, or corrupt people. No one will be a victim of injustice in any way. There will be no mirror houses. The model of a welfare state will be presented by forming a welfare-oriented country.
\nHe said the creation of Allah the Almighty, the rivers and canals, must be free from pollution. So that farmers will grow crops through modern technology. No businessman will have his institution taken away.
\n\u201cNo one will be suppressed through oppression. By enriching all areas including industry, health, and education, the nation will be gifted a country like a garden,” he said.
\nWith Saidpur Upazila Jamaat Ameer Hafez Abdul Muntakim in the chair, its Secretary Alhaj Mazharul Islam moderated the rally.
