On Sunday (November 6), a press conference was held at Bishwanath Press Club on the initiative of the family of Nijam Uddin, Vice President of BNP No. 3 Alangkari Union of Sylhet District Bishwanath Police Station of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nazim Uddin, brother of BNP leader Nijam Uddin, presented a written statement at the press conference and answered various questions from the journalists. <\/span><\/p>\n

He said in a written statement that Nijam Uddin went to the UK on a visit visa to meet and exchange views with Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders and workers and because the United Kingdom attended various events of BNP and spoke against the current government’s violation of human rights and the seizure of power in the country in an undemocratic position, Bangladesh Awami League leaders and workers at various levels and the police are conspiring against Nijam Uddin and his family and trying to file various false cases against him.<\/span><\/p>\n

The police are searching his house from time to time and threatening and intimidating the family members in various ways. <\/span><\/p>\n

He also said that Awami League leaders and activists of various levels attacked Nijam Uddin’s business establishment and took about 70,000 (Seventy Thousand) taka kept in the store’s goods and cash.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the press conference, Nijam Uddin’s brother strongly demanded the administration to ensure exemplary punishment of the Awami League terrorists who looted shops.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joint General Secretary of No. 3 Alangkari Union BNP, former UP member Nurul Islam Salam was present in the said press conference.<\/span><\/p>\n
