Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury today said the government has nationalized a total of 828 educational institutes in the last fifteen years across the country.<\/p>\n
“A total of 828 different types of educational institutes have been
\nnationalized across the country in the last fifteen years since 2009,” said
\nthe minister.The minister disclosed this while responding to a query raised by treasury<\/p>\n
bench lawmaker M Abdul Latif of Chattogram-11 during the question-answer
\nwhich was tabled at the Jatiya Sangsad here with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
\nChaudhury in the chair.Of these institutes, 54 were School and Colleges, 374 were colleges, 374 were schools and 49 technical institutes.<\/p>\n
Replying to another question raised by Nizam Uddin Hazari of Feni-2, the
\neducation minister said the government has taken various steps for preventing
\nquestion paper leakage.<\/p>\n
“Officials from all concerned including the ministry, intelligence, BTRC,
\ndistrict and the field officials have been integrated for maintaining
\nsecurity and confidentiality of the question papers for holding trouble free
