State Minister for Post, Telecommunication and
\nInformation and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak, MP, today
\nsaid the government has been working to build Rajshahi as modern, time-
\nfitting and smart city.<\/p>\n
“Around a decade ago, we had many dreams but now we see that many of those
\ndreams have been materialized. Preliminary, it was very challenging to finish
\nthe works but as a result of farsighted development policies of the
\ngovernment we have achieved success,” he added.<\/p>\n
The state minister came up with the observation while distributing allotments
\namong the investors at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-tech Park here today as
\nchief guest.<\/p>\n
He also distributed prize-money among three winning teams of Smart Rajshahi
\nInnovation Challenge- 2023 on the occasion.<\/p>\n
With Commissioner of Rajshahi division Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir in the
\nchair, the ceremony was addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner
\nShamim Ahmed, Director of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-tech Park Project
\nFazlul Haque and Director of Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority Barrister
\nGolam Sarwar Bhuiyan.<\/p>\n
The state minister said the hi-tech park has been playing a vital role to
\nincrease flow of foreign currency in the country.<\/p>\n
Established on 31 acres of land at a cost of around Taka 300 crore, the park
\nhas opened up a new door of employment opportunities for the youths.<\/p>\n
He hoped that employment of around 14,000 youths will be generated here
