Seven persons, including a woman and children, were killed in a collision between a bus and a CNG-run autorickshaw in Barabila area of the district today.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred around 11.30am when a Nalitabari-bound passenger bus crashed into the autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction on the Mymensingh-Sherpur road in the Barabila area under Mymensingh Sadar Upazila, leaving all seven auto-rickshaw passengers dead on the spot, said Officer in Charge (OC) Mayeen Uddin of Mymensingh Kotwali Model police station.<\/p>\n
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.<\/p>\n
The OC said, being informed, police and fire servicemen rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.<\/p>\n
