Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh IWAMA Kiminori<\/p>\n
today made a courtesy call on State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu
\nat his Secretariat office.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Titu termed ‘Handcrafts’ as the product of the year and
\nsaid that the government wants to generate more employments and boost
\nexportable items through its ‘one village, one product’ initiative.<\/p>\n
He also sought support from Japan to make this initiative a success.<\/p>\n
Lauding such initiative of the government, the Japanese Ambassador said that
\nJapan wants to strengthen its relationship with Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
Kiminori said that Japan wants to stay beside Bangladesh as a development
\npartner,<\/p>\n
He also requested the state minister for ensuring Bangladesh’s participation
\nat the World Trade Expo 2025 to be held in Japan.<\/p>\n
The state minister also put emphasis on working together to boost bilateral
