Rumana Ali today said the present government has upheld the country’s sports
\nto the international arena by achieving significant success in the field of
\nsports.<\/p>\n
“The government has taken the sports to a new height. Along with boys, girls
\nhave also achieved significant success in the field of sports. The women’s
\nfootball team has achieved the unique honor of becoming the champion in the
\n‘SAFF Women’s Championship 2022’,” she said.<\/p>\n
The state minister said this while addressing the opening ceremony of the
\nnational level Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament-2023
\nand Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football
\nTournament-2023 at the playing field of Dhaka University (DU) as the chief
\nguest.<\/p>\n
With Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) Shah
\nRezwan Hayat, the event was attended, among others, by Primary and Mass
