Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, MP, today urged all people to play a responsible role in ensuring fire safety measures in all buildings.<\/p>\n
“All building owners should maintain fire safety laws and abide by building codes to make people safe from fire,” he said while speaking at a namaz-e-janaza of teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College Lutfun Nahar Karim and her daughter Jannati Tajrin Nikita, a student of Brac University, in the city’s Bailey Road area.<\/p>\n
Praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveying deep sympathy to the bereaved family, Nasim said, “Lutfun was an honest and skilled teacher . . . The nation has lost a skilled teacher at her death.”<\/p>\n
