Leaders of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) today
\ndemanded to pay overtime bills of journalists immediately who will work in the
\nmedia outlets during the Eid holydays.<\/p>\n
In a statement, DUJ president Sohel Haider Chowdhury and general secretary Akther
\nHossain said it is the right for every worker to enjoy holidays during festival.
\nAccording to the labour act, the overtime bills of workers must be paid if they are in
\nduty during holidays, they said.<\/p>\n
The leaders urged all respective authorities of media outlets to take steps in this
\nregard, the statement said.<\/p>\n
