Washington will impose
\nadditional sanctions against Iran, aimed against Iranian missile and drone
\ndevelopment programs, as well as companies that cooperate with the Islamic
\nRevolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Defense Ministry, US
\nNational Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, US President Joe Biden, together with the US\u2019
\nallies and partners and leaders of both chambers of the US Congress, is
\ndeveloping a “comprehensive response” to the Iranian strike at Israel.<\/p>\n
“In the coming days, the United States will impose new sanctions targeting
\nIran, including its missile and drone program as well as new sanctions against
\nentities supporting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran\u2019s
\nDefense Ministry,” the statement reads.<\/p>\n
According to Sullivan, the US expects that the allies and partners “will soon be
