RU Correspondent: Student-People’s Uprising Day, a Victory Rally takes place today at Rajshahi University (RU), organized by the university administration.
The rally inaugurated by RU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib at 10:00 AM in front of the Senate Building
Teachers, students, officials, and staff from all levels participate in the event.
The rally starts from the Senate Building, exits through the main gate, moves along the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway, circles around Talaimari, and re-enters the campus through the Kazla Gate, ending in front of the Senate Building.
While inaugurating the event, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib says, “Today is a day of immense joy and celebration. It reminds us of the unity through which our students and people make the impossible possible. We must preserve that unity, rising above selfishness, personal gain, and greed.”
Student Fahir says, “The goal of this revolution is to restore the rights of the people and democracy. People from all classes come together to uproot fascism. By the mercy of Allah, we achieve victory on August 5. Today, we want to celebrate and embrace that spirit.”
It is noteworthy that around 5,000 people join the rally held in observance of Student-People’s Uprising Day.
