RU Representative: Smart classrooms with modern facilities have been introduced in 43 departments of Rajshahi University (RU). From now on, students will have the opportunity to take classes through displays with modern information technology. Today, Tuesday at 11:30, Dr. University. Vice-Chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar formally inaugurated the Smart Classroom in Room 314 of the MA Wazed Mia Academic Building.

Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. Humayun Kabir, Treasurer Prof. Abayadur Rahman Pramanik, Director of Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. SM Akram Ullah, Administrator of Transport Department Mokchidul Haque and administration officials including the heads of various faculties and department heads were present.

Inaugurating the smart classroom, the Vice-Chancellor said, that the current technology is advancing day by day, so we have to keep pace with the technology. These smart classrooms are decided keeping in mind modern facilities for the students. This smart classroom is being introduced in 43 departments simultaneously at our university. From now we should know about the maintenance of smart classrooms.
Departments that have come under this smart classroom called upon the ICT Center to look into the use of this room so that the department concerned can know about it. Ask the young teachers in the department to know about it very well.

The vice-chancellor also mentioned that as a result of using smart classrooms, our students’ interest in studies will increase and they will also learn about information technology. The Vice-Chancellor also said that teachers and students will be more attentive in this classroom. He also said that smart classrooms will assist students in building an efficient nation through science and technology education.

Professor Md. Khademul Islam Molya, director of the ICT Center who is in the overall management of setting up the smart classroom, said that no other board can be used in this smart classroom through the smart project, instead there is a smart display. With this board, you can write and erase on the board display along with audio-video by touch. In addition to classroom students, distance students also have the opportunity to be included in the same class. He mentioned that there are two cameras and a modern sound system due to which students are in the room and remote students will not have any audio-visual problems during the lecture.
