Romel’s new song “A Shohor” released

Entertainment Desk : Singer, guitarist and composer Tanveer Salehin Rommel’s new song ‘A Shohor’ was released on August 17 evening. He has his own official YouTube channel. 2 more singles expected to be released this year.

Jami composed the lyrics and tune of ‘A Shohor’. The music composition, mixing and mastering of the song was completed by the artist himself. The videography of the song was done by Anik Khan. About the song, the singer said, I am very optimistic about this soft- rock trend song. The music and video of the song have been accomplished with great care. The video of the song has been shot in several places inside and outside Dhaka. He hopes everyone likes it.

Tanvir Salehin Romel was born and spent her childhood in Malibagh, Dhaka. After 7th grade he learned Hawaiian guitar for 6 months at Bulbul Lalit Kala Academy. It was around this time that he fell in love with real western band music and started real music by finally learning Spanish guitar while in the 9th grade.

Rommel picked up the guitar at the age of 15 and a few years later joined the band “DEZZEL” as lead vocalist and guitarist in 1997. He played a record number of live shows for the band that year. In early 1998, he joined a band called ‘Fate n Shriek’. In that year, he formed the band group called ‘Fusion’.

In 2005, he joined the popular 90’s band group “Monitor” and played many shows for 1 year as lead guitarist. In 2007, Rommel made his debut in the music world as a solo artist with the release of a duet album “Rong Kara Putul” with popular musician Dilshad Nahar Kana with a total of 10 songs and in 2008, he again started live shows with his band ‘Fusion’.

In 2011, he took himself one step further by debuting as a music composer as well as a music artist. He also made cover videos of several English songs of foreign bands. Among his published singles are ‘Bhalobasar Mayajal’, ‘Purono Gitar’, ‘Bhalobasho Amake’, ‘Ekhon Amay’, ‘Borsha’, ‘Ekhono Raat Jege’.
