Because the play was written about Siraj. So that history has been memorized by us through the dialogue of the play.Similarly, drama based on Bangabandhu’s life should be spread to this generation. Through dialogue they will tell the history of Bangabandhu and the liberation war. Our effort is with that purpose. We want everyone’s cooperation. As you know, after the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, Bharat Bangladesh Bangabandhu Natya Utsav was staged for the first time with the participation of two Bengali theater workers on the same stage. “Bharat-Bangladesh friendship should live forever”- this slogan is in frontOn December 21, 2022, the 1st India-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Natya Utsav was held at the Yogesh Maim Academy stage in Jadavpur, Kolkata. The festival lasted from noon to 9 pm that day. After 51 years of independence of Bangladesh, the India-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Theater Festival started with the participation of theater workers from both countries. This festival is the demand of the time. Playwright Khan Shaukat said, to make the dream of book fair in Bangladesh come true on 8th of 1972In February Shri Chittaranjan Saha inaugurated the book fair by arranging 32 books on mats at Dhaka University Battala. Now the book fair is a popular festival in both Bangla and diaspora countries. Similarly, long ago I dreamed of India-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Theater Festival with Bangabandhu, the greatest Bengali of thousands of years. I have been cherishing this dream since 1993. I have told many people but they are about BangabandhuShow interest in taking political risks by writing plays. Then I started writing myself. On 21/12/2022, the 1st India-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Drama Festival was held at Jadavpur Yogesh Maim Academy stage in Kolkata with 4 plays written by me. We may be starting this theater festival on a small scale now, if we can attract the attention of Mujib Sainiks, this event will be very big one day. Meanwhile Bangladesh Group Theater Plays, Art Festival and Bangladesh Street Drama Council Festival. This time we are starting in two countries. However, if we get everyone’s support, we want to hold this festival in different countries including Middle East, Europe, America, Canada in the future.
