ET Desk: A delegation from Kangwon National University (KNU), a leading public university in South Korea, visited Manarat International University (MIU) on Tuesday, 12 August.
Led by Minhee Lee, Director of KNU, and Min Su Park, Admission Manager for South Asia, the team met with Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rob, Vice-Chancellor of MIU, at the university’s Gulshan Campus.
Also present at the meeting were A.H.M. Abu Syeed, Registrar (In-Charge); Tasmia Moslehuddin, Head of the Department of English; and Dr. Sabiha Sultana, Assistant Professor at the Center for General Education.
Discussions focused on potential collaborations in academic exchange, credit transfers, joint research, scholarships, and student employment opportunities in Korea.
Welcoming the initiative, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his interest in developing long-term partnerships to expand educational and research opportunities between the two universities.
