ET Desk: On the occasion of the 13th National Parliament election, nomination papers were raised on behalf of Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the nominated candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for Dhaka-15 constituency on Thursday (December 25).
A delegation led by the organization’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim collected the nomination papers from the office of the Returning Officer in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Present at the time were Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Head of Central Publicity and Media Department Ed. Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Central Working Committee Member, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Dhaka Metropolitan North and Constituency Director of Dhaka-15 Abdur Rahman Musa, Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka Metropolitan North working committee member Ziaul Hasan, Metropolitan North working committee member and Mirpur (East) Thana Ameer Shah Alam Tuhin, Kafrul (South) Thana Ameer Professor Anwarul Karim and Kafrul (North) Thana Ameer Rezaul Karim.
