Shah Asaduzzaman Asad, senior vice-president of Sylhet’s Bishwanath Upazila Awami League, said that Nijam Uddin, vice-president of Bishwanath’s No. 3 ornamental union BNP, went to the United Kingdom in the name of visit and gathered with BNP leaders there, spreading false propaganda against Bangladesh Awami League and tarnishing the image of Bangladesh to the world, which undoubtedly amounts to treason.
We Bangabandur Sainik Bishwanath Awami League leaders and workers will not accept it.
He appealed to the administration to bring back BNP leader Nijam Uddin from UK and ensure punishment.
He also said that if Nijam Uddin is in Bangladesh, he will be punished on the soil of Bangladesh, we will never let him go. He said the above words at a meeting of Awami League No. 3 Alangkari Union on Saturday (July 2).
