Desk Report: – Jahanara Begum Doly (60), wife of Jatiya Party conference preparation committee and former student leader Iqbal Hossain Raju, passed away today (22 July 2023) at 1.30 pm (innalillahi wa innailahi rajiun). Jahanara Begum Dolly was suffering from various diseases for a long time. At the time of death, Jahanara Begum Dolly was survived by her husband, two sons, one daughter, grand children along with relatives and many well-wishers . Begum Roshan Ershad MP, the main sponsor of Jatiya Party and leader of opposition in Jatiya Sangsad, has expressed deep grief over the death of Iqbal Hossain Raju’s wife. In a statement, Rowshan Ershad sought forgiveness for the departed soul. She expressed her deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and said, May Allah Almighty grant patience to all his family members.
