9 people have died in the country in the last 24 hours due to dengue.
Among them, 4 are in the capital and 5 are outside. 2 thousand 609 people are hospitalized due to dengue. Among them 561 people in Dhaka city and 2 thousand 48 people in different hospitals outside Dhaka city.
Today, the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health informed in a press release that currently 8 thousand 224 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country.
There are currently 2,410 dengue patients in 53 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 5,814 dengue patients in other departments outside Dhaka.
This year, 2 lakh 44 thousand 698 patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country due to dengue. Among them 93 thousand 105 people in Dhaka and 1 lakh 51 thousand 593 people outside Dhaka. Meanwhile, 1,900 people have died of dengue this year across the country.
On the other hand, 2 lakh 35 thousand 284 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital since January of this year. Among them 89 thousand 956 people in Dhaka and 1 lakh 45 thousand 328 people outside Dhaka.
2 thousand 525 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among them 538 people in Dhaka and 1 thousand 987 people in different places outside Dhaka.
