Jamaat wants to build an education system where no one will be unemployed due to education- Dr. Shafiqur

Staff Correspondent: Jamaat-e-Islami wants to build an education system that will ensure that no one will be unemployed after receiving education, said party Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. In this regard, he said, many people are counting numbers and saying that they will provide employment to so many crores, so many lakhs of youth.

What will happen to others? They say they will give allowance to others. But they do not want to see or hear the youth of the country accepting unemployment allowance from anyone. They want to turn everyone’s hands into the hands of craftsmen to build the country. I want to give work to everyone.

Shafiqur Rahman made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the central membership conference of Jamaat’s student organization Islami Chatra Shibir at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Friday afternoon.

Shafiqur Rahman commented that any party can reach an electoral agreement with Jamaat if it meets three conditions. According to him, the conditions are – no corruption, no patronage of corrupt people.

Equal justice will be ensured for all at all levels of society, no politician will be able to interfere in the justice system. We must promise to implement all the recommendations of the reforms.

Regarding the Chatra Shibir, the Jamaat Ameer said, “This (camp) is no longer just an ordinary student organization. In the post-1924 revolution, the student community of Bangladesh has embraced this organization with love. It has given them a mandate.”

The Chatra Shibir must fulfill its responsibility as the guardian of the student community.

Shafiqur Rahman commented that the pen was taken away from the hands of students for the last 54 years. In this context, he said that the tender-minded students were misled and given weapons in their hands.

Educational institutions were turned into mini-cantonments.

There was no guarantee of the dignity of girls, the lives and careers of students. That dark chapter has begun to depart. But the dark shadow has not yet left the nation. The struggle of the student camp must continue until this dark shadow is eliminated.
