Deputy Leader in Parliament and Awami League Presidium Member Matia Chowdhury today called for bringing back the fugitive killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the country from abroad.
“The fugitive murderers of Bangabandhu who are staying abroad should be brought back to the country to bring them to the book,” she told a discussion organized by Mohila Sramik League at Awami League office at Bangabandhu Avenue here marking the martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation and the National Mourning Day.
She urged everyone to be more vocal to bring back the killers of Father of the Nation to the country to implement the verdict.
With President of Mohila Sramik League Suraiya Akhtar in the chair, the discussion was, addressed, among others, by AL Organizing Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi and lawmaker Shamsun Nahar Bhuiyan.
