Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has called on the countrymen to be careful so that BNP does not thwart the upcoming national elections through any nefarious action.
He said, “Elections will be held at any cost in this country and people will vote them freely.”
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this in her speech as the chief guest at a rally organized by the Awami League North at the Civil Aviation Ground in Kawla this afternoon. 
The Prime Minister said, you will convey my words to the common people that if you want development, you need to make a boat. If they want destruction, they are BNP-Jamaat. So, keeping that in mind, I urge you to vote for the boat brand. Let me serve you.
He said, I have only one thing. But, I will work for the welfare of the people of the country. We want you to vote on the boat brand. So that I can serve you again.
 Sheikh Hasina said that in any case the election will be held in this country and the people will vote freely.
He said, ‘Only the boat can move the country forward. So, this is my appeal to you in the upcoming elections. I know they are in doubt whether BNP will come to the polls or not.’ 
Calling this normal, he said, who is the leader of the election they will make? Who will be their prime minister that they will choose? That corrupt fugitive! Orphan money embezzlement! 
“That’s why they are trying to disrupt the election. They know that boat brands will get votes and Awami League will come to power only when there is an election. The development of the country will be accelerated. So, they want to spoil the election. Wants to take away people’s right to vote. Therefore, I urge the countrymen to be careful not to do this. And I am warning you especially the people of Dhaka,” he added.
At that time, when he asked for the pledge of the people gathered to vote on the boat, they all raised their hands and expressed their pledge.
He said that it is not only necessary to vote by yourself, but also to spread the word to family, friends and all in the country and abroad. It should be propagated that there is only Awami League for the development of this country. They are the only ones who can develop this country and give democracy.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the 3rd terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, on the day of the inauguration of the terminal, this gathering was postponed on October 7 due to inclement weather. Ignoring the heat of the scorching sun, the enthusiastic leaders and workers and the general public joined the rally in groups wearing colorful clothes from early morning and chanting slogans.The Prime Minister said that today’s Dhaka has changed, today Bangladesh has changed, the government has taken steps to remove traffic congestion and the metro rail has already been launched. This metrorail will then go step by step through Motijheel to Kamalapur railway station. Work on the project to have metro rail along with subway has also started. Nuclear power plants are built for power security. Along with that, we have taken steps to construct circular water wedges in Dhaka. The first elevated expressway has already been commissioned. Even in the future, the government has plans to build an elevated expressway around Dhaka. But for this there will be no need to acquire any land.
Referring to the construction of the Bangabandhu multi-purpose bridge with rail link on the Yamuna river by forming the government in 1996, he said, as a result, direct road communication was established with North Bengal and his government capitalized on the trust and confidence of the people by coming to power for the second time and staying in power for three consecutive terms. Today Padma has built the bridge with its own funding. Now both cars and railways are going over the Padma River.
He said that the government has built this bridge with its own funds by taking the World Bank’s slander that there was corruption at the beginning of the construction of the Padma Bridge as a challenge and all the allegations of the World Bank have been proved to be false and false. Because Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib’s daughter came to power not for corruption but to serve the people. And in its own sense, the image of Bangladesh in the international arena has been brightened by the construction of the Padma Bridge.
The head of the government said that tunnels are being built under the Karnaphuli river, sea ports have been built. The ‘Deep Sea’ port at Maheshkhali will now be re-launched after formation of an authority.
Referring to the construction of flyovers in the capital, he said, we have constructed Mayor Hanif flyover, Mogbazar-Mouchak flyover, Banani overpass, Kalshi flyover and more new flyovers are being constructed. Mas Rapid Transit from Airport to Gazipur is also nearing completion. Purbachal Expressway has been constructed.
If it comes to power in the future, the Awami League government will overpass the railway crossings in all the places in the Dhaka North area, so that the railway does not have to be blocked. Because, it is our responsibility to see all facilities, he said.
He said, all these have been possible for one reason, because Awami League was given the opportunity to form the government by voting for our candidate in boat marks in the elections of 2008, 2014 and 2018. That is why I would say boat is a brand that has given freedom, development, electricity to every house, solved the water problem, made communication easy, created employment, is making 100 economic zones all over the country so that employment can be created in the country.
The Prime Minister said that there is only one boat brand, everything will happen only if this brand is in power. And those robbers are corrupt, murderers, robbers, thieves – they will destroy the country if they come to power. Please do not let them destroy this country.
Sheikh Hasina said, during Khaleda Zia’s tenure, Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, Siddhirganj power plant, NAICO, GATCO – they committed corruption in everything. Banks stopped financing power projects, roads, but they didn’t have the backbone to challenge them. Because they were corrupt. Embezzled people’s money. And Awami League serves the people, works for their welfare.
Mentioning that many people will get employment if the 3rd terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is fully operational, he said, as a result, international communication will improve. A state-of-the-art international airport is being constructed at Cox’s Bazar. Chittagong and Sylhet international airports were also built by the Awami League government.
He pointed to BNP and said that they stage dharnas here and there abroad. No work will be done with those sit-ins. People power is great power. I believe in the power of the people. I have confidence in them.Recalling the tragic episode of 1975, he said, I lost my father, mother and brothers that day. The people of Bangladesh lost everything and came back to the country. Today the people of Bangladesh are my family. my own So I have taken it as my duty to work for them.
