Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid a courtesy call on President Md Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban this evening. On arrival at Bangabhaban, President Md. Sahabuddin and his wife Dr. Rebecca Sultana welcomed the Prime Minister with flowers.
President’s Press Secretary Md Zainal Abedin told Bass, ‘During the meeting, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina discussed various important national issues.’ In the meeting, the Prime Minister briefed the President on various issues related to his recent visit to the United States and the United Kingdom, particularly his attendance at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He also briefed the Head of State about the G-20 Summit to be held in India on September 9-10, 2023.
President Sahabuddin thanked and congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the successful visit.
In the meeting, the President wished Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her birthday. At this time Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inquired about the health of the President.
