10 people have died in the last 24 hours due to dengue.
Among them, there are 5 in the capital and 5 outside. 2 thousand 47 people are hospitalized due to dengue. Among them 460 people in Dhaka city and 1 thousand 587 people in different hospitals outside Dhaka city.
Today, the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health informed in a press release that currently 8 thousand 336 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country.
Currently 2 thousand 509 people are admitted in 53 public and private hospitals of Dhaka and 5 thousand 827 dengue patients are admitted in other departments outside Dhaka.
This year, 2 lakh 37 thousand 251 patients have been admitted to hospital due to dengue infection. Among them, 91 thousand 468 people are in Dhaka and 1 lakh 45 thousand 783 people outside Dhaka. Meanwhile, 1,158 people have died of dengue this year across the country.
On the other hand, 2 lakh 27 thousand 757 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital since January of this year. Among them 88 thousand 237 people in Dhaka and 1 lakh 39 thousand 520 people outside Dhaka.
In the last 24 hours, 1 thousand 949 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital. Among them 484 people in Dhaka and 1 thousand 465 people outside Dhaka.
