President Md. Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan had a courtesy meeting with Sahabuddin today at Bangabhaban.
President’s press secretary. Zainal Abedin told BASS that during the meeting, the Chief Justice informed the President about the overall activities of the Supreme Court.
Congratulating the new Chief Justice, the Head of State expressed hope that under his leadership, the development of the Judiciary will be accelerated.
At this time, the Chief Justice informed the President about the long-term plan for the development of the judiciary.
He also said that necessary initiatives are being taken to increase the training facilities of judges.
During the meeting, the head of state expressed satisfaction with the overall activities of the Supreme Court.
The President said that the government will continue to provide full cooperation in the implementation of the activities undertaken for the development of the Judiciary.
At this time, Secretary of His Excellency President’s Office, Sahad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salahuddin Islam and Secretary (Attached) Md. Wahidul Islam Khan was present.
