On the occasion of the 60th birthday of Bangabandhu’s youngest son Shaheed Sheikh Russell at the National Press Club on Tuesday, he said this in the chief guest’s speech at the discussion meeting organized by the Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance. 
Information and Broadcasting Minister said, ‘A conspiracy has started against the country. BNP-Jamaat wants to hand over the country to the globalists. Their aim is not to come to power, because they know that it is not possible for them to come to power in case of elections. And they also know that others will fish in the waters they are trying to muddy. Their aim is to remove the leader of the people Sheikh Hasina from power and hand over the country and the country’s resources to the globalists. And Vishwabaniyas are watching like vultures so that opportunity cannot be given.’ 
Referring to Palestine, Hasan Mahmud said, ‘I was surprised to see that BNP-Jamaat does religious politics when the election comes, Jamaat does it, but today people are being hunted like birds in Palestine, and crimes against humanity are being organized. not a word As you must have noticed on social media, Tarek Zia instructs that there is no need to talk about it, the world may be unhappy. Those who don’t utter a word because the world may be unhappy, they will sell the country for their own interests if they get the chance. So be careful about them.’ 
He said, ‘I request Fakhrul Saheb, you should not work as the leader of Begum Zia, Tariq Rahman’s lathial army, work as a politician, work in the interest of the country, then the country will benefit.’  
The Information Minister said, ‘I will tell Mirza Fakhrul Sahib, don’t speak so loudly. Even after you became an MP, your party did not allow you to take oath. Your party made the MPs resign despite their reluctance, to no avail. So the main leaders of your party, Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarek Zia, do not want you to come to the election and do well or become an MP. At this time, Hashan Mahmud issued a stern warning against attempts to create chaos and said, ‘This is the Awami League government, Sheikh Hasina’s government. It is not possible to remove this government with a few human chains, gathering 20-30 thousand people in front of Nayapaltan or somewhere, gathering their arsonists from all over the country and vandalizing some carriages and horses. Tried a lot in 2013-14. Many cars and horses were burnt, Sheikh Hasina could not be removed. We are committed to conduct a fair, free, impartial, transparent election in the country, in which the people of the country will participate widely. Hope BNPO will also participate there and they will check their popularity. Don’t stand on the street and yell at the government.’ 
Earlier, paying deep respect to the memory of Shaheed Sheikh Russell, Minister Hasan Mahmud said, ‘I seek the forgiveness of the soul of Shaheed Sheikh Russell from Almighty God. On August 15, 1975, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Necha Mujib, and finally 10-year-old child Sheikh Russell were killed. Then 13-14 year old Rama, who is still alive today, took him and hid under the stairs. From there, Sheikh Russell was dragged to Bangmata’s body and shot dead. In other words, the murderers were afraid of Bangabandhu’s shadow.
“Had Sheikh Russel been alive today, he could have contributed a lot to the national life, he could have been the companion of Bangabandhu’s daughter in the realization of Bangabandhu’s dream, but the killers did not spare him,” the information minister said, “When Imam Hussain was slaughtered in the wilderness of Karbala, women and children were killed.” was spared. But on August 15, 1975, women and children were killed indiscriminately, even pregnant mothers. It is one of the worst murders in human history. This murder has been tried. Just prosecuting the killers is not enough. Ziaur Rahman and other Kushilabs behind this murder have not been exposed. That mask needs to be unmasked.’
