He gave this message at the peace and development rally organized by Awami League Dhaka South and North on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Shaheed Sheikh Russell, the youngest son of the Father of the Nation and Sheikh Russell Day-2023 at the south gate of National Mosque Baitul Mukarram on Wednesday afternoon.
BNP has announced to give the last message to the government after Durga Puja. In response he gave this message.
Obaidul Quader said, ‘Mirza Fakhrul’s pocket is hot. His words are so hot. They threaten us by uttering warnings and threatening us. Mirza Fakhrul fasted for three hours after eating breakfast at a five-star hotel. After two and a half hours, the foreigner stopped the fast by drinking juice. Doing this movement? Message us again? Are you telling the time? When the power to give up that warning? Who are you messaging? To whom will Sheikh Hasina give power? To you or to the condemned Yuvraj Tariq Rahman?’

He said to the activists, ‘How many people today? May this spirit remain. Some say that if Awami League is in the opposition party, the spirit increases, the government party is soft. Now I see that the government also has spirit.’
Obaidul Quader said, those who will block, are obstructing the election. We will see what action is taken against them.
He said to the countrymen, there is no way without a boat. If you want peace and happiness in Bangladesh, you need a boat, if you want development, you need a boat. There will be no democracy without boats. If you vote by boat, there will be democracy.
Awami League general secretary said about the price of goods, “The price of goods has increased all over the world. We are being punished for that. Big forces are driving up prices. Today the director of the IMF says, ‘Bangladesh is going right under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. Inflation is coming down, albeit slowly. The future of Bangladesh is bright.’ I also say – you have to be patient. Now you are suffering, we admit. But remember – there is a man, you will suffer, who is working day and night.”
