President Md Sahabuddin’s open heart surgery was completed today at the National University of Singapore Hospital.
President’s Press Secretary Md. Zainal Abedin told Bass that the successful surgery of the head of state was completed this morning under the supervision of eminent cardiac surgeon Prof. Dr. Kofidis Theodoros. Quoting doctors, Abedin said that the president is now under the observation of doctors in the post-operative unit. He regained consciousness. he is fine
Earlier, the President was admitted to the National University Hospital of Singapore after the required health check-up last Monday. He asked for the prayers of all, including the countrymen, for a speedy recovery.
On October 16, President Sahabuddin went to Singapore for treatment.
