12 people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. Among them, 8 people are in Dhaka City and 4 people are outside Dhaka.
Today, 1 thousand 558 people were newly admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Among them, 424 people were admitted in Dhaka City and 1 thousand 134 people were admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka City.
This information was given in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health today.
It is said that currently 8 thousand 3 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 2 thousand 358 patients admitted in public and private hospitals of Dhaka city and 5 thousand 645 patients outside Dhaka.
The press release also informed that this year 2 lakh 51 thousand 101 patients were admitted to hospital due to dengue. Among them 94 thousand 618 in Dhaka City and 1 lakh 56 thousand 483 outside Dhaka. Meanwhile, this year, 1,226 people died of dengue infection across the country. Among them, 757 people are in Dhaka City and 469 people are outside Dhaka.
On the other hand, 2 lakh 41 thousand 872 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital since January of this year. Among them, 91 thousand 503 people have recovered in Dhaka City and 1 lakh 50 thousand 369 people have recovered in different parts of the country outside Dhaka. In the last 24 hours, 1 thousand 775 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospital. Among them, 530 people from Dhaka City and 1 thousand 245 people outside Dhaka have recovered.
