Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that communalism and militancy are our common enemies. Sheikh Hasina’s hand must be strengthened to stop them.
He said, ‘People of all religions, including those of Sanatan religion, have no other person in this country more than Sheikh Hasina. Those who were defeated in 1971 are challenging the strength of the allies of the entire liberation war to avenge their defeat. They have to be dealt with. They are challenging the power of Sheikh Hasina.
Obaidul Quader said these things when he visited the capital’s Banani Pujamandap on Friday evening.
Awami League general secretary said, election is ahead. Let us be united in our non-communal spirit. Sheikh Hasina must be kept in power to keep this spirit alive.
He said Sanatan religious people are celebrating their biggest religious festival Sharadiya Durga Puja. All over the world there is unrest, war and war situation. We do not know where the end of this war is. The signs of war spreading are becoming more apparent, not resolved.
Awami League general secretary called for more prayers to Goddess Durga to protect the world and the country from this instability and unrest.
