The 25th session of the 11th National Parliament will start tomorrow Sunday at 4 pm.
The 25th session of the 11th National Parliament and the 5th session of 2023 will begin in the parliament chamber of Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan located in Sher Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury will preside over the session.
On October 5, President Md. Sahabuddin convened this session under the power given in Clause (1) of Article 72 of the Constitution. Earlier, the 24th session ended on September 14.
The final decision regarding the duration of this session will be made in the meeting of the Working Advisory Committee of the Parliament before the session begins.
According to the sources of the Parliament Secretariat, about 2 dozen bills are pending for introduction and passage in the current session. Some of these bills are said to be passed. But if no Bills introduced are passed and there is no other session of the current Parliament, they will become null and void.
