Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader MP has said that the next national elections will be held as per the constitution. Don’t be stuck for someone if you don’t like it. The election train will leave next November. BNP will fall behind if it misses.
He said this while addressing a discussion meeting organized by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) on the occasion of National Safe Road Day at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital this morning.
On October 28, the Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said about BNP’s Dhaka blockade programme, BNP’s political ambitions will not be fulfilled by threats of blockade and occupation. The threat of burning is coming. There is only one person to get rid of this, she is Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina. 
He urged everyone to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 
 The bridge minister expressed his anger over the banning of three-wheelers on the highway and non-enforcement of the law on road safety. He emphasized on wet control to protect roads.

Earlier, on the occasion of Safe Road Day, a rally was taken out to create public awareness to prevent road accidents. The rally circled from Dhaka University’s Doyle Chattar to Zero Point. 
National Safe Road Day, 2023 was celebrated across the country today under the motto ‘Follow the law, build a smart Bangladesh’.
