Information Minister and Joint General Secretary of Awami League. Hashan Mahmud said about BNP’s rally in Dhaka on October 28, ‘BNP’s grand rally, small rally, medium rally and their walking, running or sitting program, maybe crawling program will come in the future. We have never felt pressured by them. We are Rajpath’s party, we are in Rajpath, we will stay in Rajpath, Rajpath will be in the possession of Awami League on 28th, inshallah.’ 
He said this in response to questions from journalists after unveiling the book ‘Bangabandhu Samgar’ published by ‘Swarvanjan’ on the research papers and research books of Saifullah Mahmud Dulal at the secretariat on Sunday afternoon.

In response to a question on BNP Secretary General’s comment that ‘the dream and hope with which Bangladesh became independent has turned into dust today’, the Broadcasting Minister said, ‘Did Mirza Fakhrul Sahib actually dream of Bangladesh – this is my question. Because he said a few months ago, “Pakistan was better”. It is a big question whether the person who said Pakistan was good actually dreamed for Bangladesh or not. I don’t want to talk about anybody’s father, but his father was a pro-Pakistan man, that’s true as daylight. Mirza Fakhrul Sahib did not dream about Bangladesh. 
The information minister said, ‘BNP was formed by including all those people who did not dream of Bangladesh but took the side of Pakistan. Shah Azizur Rahman, who went to the United Nations as the deputy leader of Pakistan’s delegation during the liberation war and said, “There is no genocide in East Pakistan, the Indian soldiers are just causing confusion and chaos”, Ziaur Rahman made him the first prime minister.
“That means BNP was formed by bringing in those who did not want the country and giving away the rest of the power,” Hasan said, “It means that Mirza Fakhrul did not dream of Bangladesh.” And Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, our predecessor freedom fighters, the organizers of the liberation war, who have created the country, Ziaur Rahman and BNP hit the altar of their spirit. 
Ziaur Rahman was not portrayed properly in Bangabandhu’s biopic ‘Mujib-Ekt Rati Rupkar’ – In reference to BNP’s comment, the Information and Broadcasting Minister said, ‘It is a biopic on Bangabandhu’s life. How Bangabandhu from boyhood to Sheikh Mujib, from Sheikh Mujib to Bangabandhu, from Bangabandhu to the father of the nation has come out in this film. This film has created a huge response at home and abroad. I get many calls and sms every day from abroad asking when they will see the film, when it will get an international release.’ 
Hasan Mahmud said, ‘When there is a huge response among people about the movie, then naturally, BNP is getting a little angry. Because their main leaders did not speak but one or two spoke, not even a legal notice was given. But the historical facts are here. The killers boasted that Ziaur Rahman was associated with Bangabandhu’s murder, when they admitted the responsibility of the murder, they said that there is a record, you have seen, it is also on social media. For more than a century, the killers and witnesses in the trial have all admitted to Ziaur Rahman’s involvement. Colonel Farooq Rasheed, in a television interview in London before the start of the trial, also admitted Ziaur Rahman’s involvement in the murder. The film does not fully cover that issue.’ 
The information minister said, ‘If BNP says that Ziaur Rahman has not been presented correctly, it is correct to some extent. Because the extent to which he was associated with Bangabandhu’s murder, it does not come fully in the film.’ 
Earlier, during the unveiling of the book ‘Bangabandhu Samgar’. Hasan Mahmud said, ‘This book is of high quality and everyone will get a chance to know a lot about Bangabandhu after reading it. That’s why I think this initiative is very good. I thank the author and publisher for this. Much has been written about Bangabandhu at home and abroad. But in many cases the standards are not maintained. I think it is necessary to pay attention to those who write or write about Bangabandhu so that the standard is maintained.’ Dr. at the event. Shihab Shahriar outlined the book.
