Director (Integration) of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force (VDP). Ahsan Ullah visited various temples of Gopalganj and Tungipara upazilas.
Director of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Md. Ahsan Ullah went out to inspect the security of various temples in the district yesterday Sunday (October 22) night. He exchanged good wishes with the leaders of District Puja Celebration Parishad at Gopalganj Central Kalibari.
At the time, he said, “We are vigilant so that no miscreant can take any opportunity in the coming elections.” Puja is two more days, more vigilance will be increased by all law enforcement forces including our members.
Besides, he visited Baladanga Puja Mandap of Tungipara Upazila and other Mandap including Bankpara Puja Mandap of Gopalganj city.
While visiting the mandap, he observed the security operations of the Ansar and Village Defense Forces at the puja mandap.
Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Gopalganj District Commandant Md. Fazle Rabbi, Circle Adjutant Ajit Kumar Ghosh, Upazila Ansar and Defense Officers were present at this time.
Gopalganj District Commandant of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, Md. Fazle Rabbi said, 9,490 members of Ansar and VDP are engaged in security in 1,301 puja mandaps of 5 upazilas of the district. 8 Ansar VDP members are working as security personnel in important mandaps and 6 in general important mandaps. For a total of 6 days they will provide security in the mandap.
