Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the government has constructed a total of 1,131 small and big bridges in the country in the last three terms.
He said this in response to a written question raised on the table by Kazim Uddin Ahmed, a member of the government party in Parliament today.
He said that among the bridges built, 20 bridges are more than 500 meters and 165 bridges have been built between 100 and 500 meters in length. Construction of 20 more bridges is going on in the current financial year.
