A meeting was held between Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and founder of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, and Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak.
The meeting took place after a session titled “Harnessing the Technology Revolution: A New Vision for the State” of the Tech Accelerator Program 2023 in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday.
Tony Blair gives inspiring views on how government can use technology to improve people’s lives and create a more prosperous future.
He emphasized investing in digital infrastructure, supporting innovation and properly regulating and managing technology.
The Minister of State expressed his gratitude to Tony Blair for his commitment to harness the power of technology to make the world a better place to live.
The state minister said, our aim is to work together to ensure zero digital divide.
He highlighted the outline of building Smart Bangladesh by 2041 announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina based on 4 pillars of Smart Citizen, Smart Government, Smart Economy and Smart Society.
Also attended the dinner hosted by the Tony Blair Institute.
