Ukraine has lost 3 lacs soldiers in the war with Russia

ET Desk Report:  Ukraine has lost more than 3 Lacs  army officers and soldiers in the two years of ongoing war with Russia. This information was given by the former adviser of the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky, Alexey Arestovich, in an interview given to the Russian media RT News on Friday (November 30). Criticizing the US-led military alliance NATO’s reluctance to give membership to Ukraine, Arestovich said, ‘Where is NATO? Will they accept us at all?

More than 3 Lacs of our army officers and men have died in the last two years of war. After how many losses will we get (NATO) membership?’ Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the start of a military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, accusing the Crimean Peninsula of not recognizing it as Russian territory and pushing for membership in the US-led military alliance NATO, even after 6 years have passed since the signing of the Minsk Agreement.

That campaign is still ongoing and thousands of civilians have been killed in the past two years of war alongside millions of soldiers. Turkey hosted peace talks between representatives of the two countries last year for a permanent ceasefire. But after some distance that discussion broke down. Ukrainian MP David Arkhamia recently blamed former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson for the collapse of those talks. Arrestovich indirectly supported David Arkhamia in an interview with RT News.

He said, “I was also in the delegation of Ukraine in that peace dialogue. He also said that the decision we took to withdraw from the dialogue was not correct.
