Bangladesh Awami League has ensured the peaceful co-existence of all- Nanak

Sylhet Correspondent: Awami League presidium member and former minister Adv. Jahangir Kabir Nanak visited the ISKCON temple in Sylhet and inaugurated the Rath Yatra, a religious festival of traditional religions.

On Tuesday afternoon, he inaugurated Sri Sri Jangannath Dev’s Rath Yatra, one of the main religious festivals of traditional religions followers.
Meanwhile, Nanak said, Awami League is a non-communal political party. Whenever this party came to power in Bangladesh, it ensured peaceful co-existence of people of all religions in the country.
The current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government has always given utmost importance to maintaining communal harmony.
He congratulated the ISKCON authorities and said that the government is sincere in solving any problem of the devout traditionalists. .
He also said that you have always been with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the goal of peace and economic liberation, and we hope that you will continue to be so in the future.
Leaders of Sylhet district and metropolitan Awami League were present with him.
