“National Mourning Day” programs observed with Qur’an recitation dua Mahfil and distribution of food among the poor

Staff Reporter: Marking the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bangali of thousand years, the supreme leader of the liberation war and the architect of freedom, various political, social and cultural organizations of the country have taken various initiatives. Among these are reading of Fateha, recitation of Quran, prayer , milad mahfil and distribution of special food . On this day, New Market Thana Awami League organized a prayer program led by New Market Thana Awami League President Bir Muktijodha Hanif Miah and General Secretary Bir Muktijodha Solaiman Akhter Manu. Former General Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Shah Alam Murad was the chief guest, first joint general secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, Advocate Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal attended the special guests. Leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League and Newmarket Thana Awami League were present on the occasions. All the leaders present expressed their determination to convert grief into strength and build a country free from terror radicalization. Syed Mahdin Ekram Kudrat, a loyal worker of New Market Thana Awami League, said, “We are determined to make this youth free from radicalism by converting grief into strength.” Radicalism is rampant. We have to be aware before it spreads, otherwise it will not be possible to build a modern digital Bangladesh. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her privileged daughter, is working tirelessly to implement Bangabandhu’s dreams and ideals. The country is a middle income country today due to the leadership and by 2041 we will be named in the list of developed countries, inshallah. Bangabandhu and his family are going all over the country including different places of the capital. Doa Mahfil and food distribution program was organized on the occasion of Martyrdom and National Mourning Day.
