Midnight Wild Hair, a satirical poem about our society and how people are engaging themselves to achieve less important things but getting more praising for that. However, when a person wants to go against this contemporary lifestyle, ultimately find herself trapped.
Poem: Midnight Wild Hair
By Tanzida Yasmin Tamanna
And there she goes again;
With her midnight wild hair fluttering,
Towards a crowd where
All zestful with their valor
Giving eulogy to each other,
But none comes for her.
For she spurned the banal triumphs
Yearning to shatter;
The fable bond of culture.
In tears, going to the temples,
Only to witness God mirroring mortals; For the creation has
polluted the Creator too!
And alas, she finds herself entwined
In the tapestry of The fashion;
An escaper without haven.
