Staff Correspondent: A doa mahfil was held marking the 17th death anniversary of Habibur Rahman Habib, elder brother of adviser of Dhaka District Press Club and Sub-Editor of Dainik Nowroz newspaper Mustafizur Rahman Mostak on Friday, February 24, seeking forgiveness of the soul of the deceased at mayor Hanif mosque in Azimpur area in the capital.This prayer was organized by Habibur Rahman Habib Memorial Trust and the departed’s family. Late Habibur Rahman Habib was the former president of ‘Bangladesh Fan Manufacturers Association’ and the former general secretary of ‘Amra Dhaka Nagorik Forum’. He became familiar as a prominent businessman and social worker of old Dhaka. According to family sources, his 17th death anniversary will be observed on Tuesday, February 28. On that day a milad and doa mahfil will be organized in a local madrasa at Keraniganj Model Town.
On behalf of the family, younger brother Mostak has specially requested all the friends, relatives and well-wishers of the deceased to attend the program on time.
