On Monday evening (January 6), the final results of the election of the new executive council of the Bangladesh Sign Materials and Machinery Importers Association for 2024-26 were announced and the responsibilities were handed over at the office room of the Bangladesh Sign Materials and Machinery Importers Association at Sultan Plaza in Purana Paltan in the capital.
The final results and names of the 11-member committee were announced at the event. Vice-Presidents Dewan Nokibul Islam and Sheikh Md. Mahbubul Haque. Joint General Secretary ASM Asaduzzaman Chowdhury Dolon, Organizing Secretary Md. Mahmud Ullah, and Treasurer Md. Musa Mia Majumder, in addition to the elected executive members, Asaduzzaman, Bahalul Hasan Sohag, Md. Mohiuddin Ripon and Subir Kumar Das.
The discussion meeting was addressed by the Chief Advisor of BSMMIA and Chairman of the Election Board, Abu Khalid Md. Barkatullah, who announced the elected committee. The former president of BSMMIA, spoke after the committee announcement. The newly elected president, Md. Khaled Hasan, and all the members of the committee present. At the discussion meeting, the newly elected 11-member committee pledged to increase membership and move forward with new enthusiasm.
