Rajshahi University (RU) Mass Communication and Journalism Department Professor and University Public Relations Department Administrator Professor Dr. Pradeep Kumar Pandey was appointed as the 16th member of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).
On Tuesday (March 19), a notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration stating that the teacher had been appointed by the President.
According to the notification, His Excellency the President, under the authority given in Article 138(1) of the Constitution, Rajshahi University Professor Dr. Appointed Pradeep Kumar Pandey as a member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) in the public interest on the condition of severing working relationship with other institutions and organizations. According to Article 139(1) of the Constitution, he shall serve as a member of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission for 5 years from the date of assumption of office or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
