ET Desk: The best rover leader is selected from 8 categories every year from the Bangladesh Scout Rover region. This year, Bangladesh Scout Dhaka District Rover Scouts’s Assistant Commissioner (Social Development and Health) Mr. Md. Touhiduzzaman Nipu has been elected from Dhaka Division out of 13 districts.
This award is rewarded for outstanding contribution to scouting. Mr. Nipu has been involved with scouting for a long time. Presently he is engaged as Assistant Commissioner (Social Development & Health) of Bangladesh Scouts Dhaka District Rover Scouts.
On the occasion of receiving the award, Nipu said, “It is truly an honorable award for me as a scouter.” Thank you very much to Bangladesh Scouts Rover Region for giving me the Best Rover Scout Leader Award of Dhaka Division.
He thanked the Honorable President, Secretary, Vice President and all Leaders and Rovers of his team ‘Ideal Open Scout’.
Besides, the editor of Dhaka District Rover Scout Mr. Jahangir Alam (A,LT) was selected as the best editor of Dhaka Division.
