Bulbul exchanged views with the journalists of different print and electronic
media in Chapainawabganj this noon.
The opinion-exchange meeting was held at Chapai Food Club in the town.
Central executive committee member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former
mayor of Chapainawabganj municipality Nazrul Islam, the district Ameer of
Jamaat Abu Jar Gifari, district nayeb-e-ameer and former lawmaker Latifur
Rahman, district secretary Abu Bakar Siddique, district assistant secretary
and former upazila chairman Mokhleshur Rahman and other Jamaat leaders were
present, among others.
Bulbul termed the assassination of the Awami League government on August 05
as a mass revolution and said that the prime credit for this success goes to
the students.
He asked the countrymen to remain calm and resist all miscreants irrespective
of party or race so that they cannot create anarchy or harm the minority
groups.
He also mentioned what Jamaat and its activists did for those who sacrificed
their lives and were injured during the anti-discrimination movement.
He expressed his optimism that the present interim government would
successfully reform the state.
Bulbul again asked all to work unitedly to face the present terrible flood
situation and remain beside the flood victims.
