Members of the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today arrested former information and broadcasting minister Hasanul Haq Inu in the city’s Uttara area.A team of DB arrested Inu, also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, from a house located at sector 14 under Uttara West Police Station at around 4pm, said Hafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Uttara West Police Station.Several cases were filed against him with different police stations, the OC said.
