“It should not be happened that the people will starve. Those who are controlling market syndicates for years should be brought to justice. We are witnessing some drives but not in massive scale,” he said while conveying sympathy to July uprising martyrs at Savar.
Rizvi called upon the government to hold national polls after quickly making required state reforms.
“The criminals who opened fire on students-people are fleeing the country. Awami League is making evil efforts to create unrest in the country again,” he said.
Rizvi said more than a thousand people were killed in students-people movement in July-August. “Amid their supreme sacrifice, we can make speech freely standing in streets. We will have to stay beside the martyrs at whose sacrifice we are breathing fresh air,” he said.
