As the election of Sylhet City Corporation is approaching, many candidates are going to be candidates of the ruling Awami League. Recently in a meeting of Sylhet Lawyers Association, former public prosecutor and 3-time organizing secretary of Central Awami League, Advocate Misbah Uddin Siraj declared himself as a candidate for the upcoming Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation. He is in contact with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and top leaders of the party to get nomination of Awami League.
