Prime Minister’s Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman, MP, said today that BNP is getting prepared for the upcoming general elections secretly.

“BNP is saying that it will not take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections, while it’s preparing for the polls secretly,” he said.

He was addressing a center-based yard meeting on the premises of Gani Sikdar Biddyalay in Bilaspur area of Dohar upazila of his constituency as the chief guest.

Salman F Rahman listened to the people of various unions and villages of Dohar as part of preparation for the upcoming national parliament elections.

Pointing to the BNP leaders, Salman said there is no benefit of groveling to foreigners. Foreigners want to see free and fair elections in Bangladesh, which the government is determined to implement, he added.

Therefore, the next national parliament election will be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government according to the constitution, he continued.

Fearing of being isolated from the people, BNP leaders and activists are now spreading propaganda, he said.

Salman F Rahman highlighted various developments of the current Awami League (AL)-led government and lauded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Later, he inaugurated seven bridges in Al Aminbazar and two bridges in Bilaspur. He also visited the left bank conservation project of Padma River at Dhal par of Muksudpur.
